Poplin

Poplin is a tightly woven plain fabric. It is durable and heavyweight. Some call this as Tabinet too. Craft store both 100% Cotton Poplin and Polyester Poplin. The poplin made of 100% cotton is cool, comfortable and breathable so you will like them most. Poplin fabric is considered to be an all-purpose fabric.

Poplin is excellent for dress purposes, and for rich upholstery work. They are ideal for shirts, pajamas, women’s wear, and sportswear and also as a decorative fabric. Shirts made from this fabric are easy to iron and do not wrinkle easily. They are excellent for making large banners for tradeshows, music concerts or museums. They are excellent in draping. So they are used in table drape displays in stores or tradeshows.
